During our extensive travels we have been blessed to be able to create so many family memories that we have captured through videos of spectacular waterfalls, historic castles, beautiful beaches, amazing mountain ranges and many more...
Consider taking the scenic route! Time is not the focus here, going through some small towns or driving down route 66, you feel a certain nostalgia versus going 80 or 90 mph on the freeway.
When planning your trip, start first with places that are known for their beauty or historic significance. It is ok to stop at all those interesting wacky places along the route too. When else are you going to see a footlong coney shaped-restaurant?
Stop your vehicle and get out! Stop at a small town, or the side of the road, and just walk around. I remember us stopping at the Mojave National Preserve and walked down an old train track and posed for pictures on an abandoned train.
