Heather got up early this morning and did yoga/zumba on the beach, as I slept in. I am not much of a yoga guy… We headed down to the pool to meet up with the others. We found one of the workers who would save our 8 chairs by the pool everyday, so no longer an issue. The weather today is the best so far – sunny, little wind, and few clouds. Read more
We went to the pool for a bit and then went to play volleyball on the beach. We split the 2 games, so the SAKS are still the WINNERS as a carry over from last year. The wind was brutal. We had to hit the ball like 20 yards opposite the ocean just to keep it in bounds. The Camels won the first game, but the Saks destroyed them in the 2nd game.
We then headed back to the pool for the dance show. Then the rains came… it was a downpour for about 30 minutes. We then all decided to go back up to the rooms and rest. Heather and I went to the shops and got “very special price for you” when buying all the souvenirs. Some of the jewelry we bought the guy started at $130, I said $20, we then settled at $50. I swear they must make a killing from the tourists that don’t know how to negotiate.
Heather and I then went back to the room to get ready for dinner. Tonight was The Culinaria, an international-style restaurant. After dinner, we went back to Todd/Bridget’s room and played “adult” charades. We then turned in.
