We got up early again today and took a ferry to Holyhead across the Irish Sea. We arrived into Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. No, that is not a typo. The smallest town in Wales is the longest named village in the world. It is conveniently nicknamed Llanfair P.G. We stopped for a few pictures and then continued on across the Brittania Bridge to the Snowdonia National Park. Read more
We could view Mt. Snowdon which stands at 3,560 feet. As we were driving through the park, we were told it has Stone and Bronze Age burial chambers, Norman castles, Roman forts and steam railways. We also saw the sea cliff lighthouses of Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey in the British Isles. We then continued on to Birmingham, England. Had dinner that night at the Park Inn.
