Saturday morning we got up early and left the island by 6:30a. It was a pretty uneventful drive back. I had spoken to a buddy of mine from Nashville, who now lives in Atlanta, who was playing at a fundraiser at a small bar in Marietta. We stopped there for less than an hour and listened to him play. Grabbed some ice cream and got back on the road North. I had called some friends of ours from church that now live in a lakehouse outside of Knoxville, Tennessee, so we had planned on staying with them on Saturday night. We arrived at Rarity Bay around 7:00. To our surprise, we immediately jumped on their boat and took a 20 minute boat ride to a really nice restaurant, The Yacht Club. The lakefront community was incredible.
Sunday morning we got up and chose to go out on the boat instead of church (God help us). Everyone had fun tubing, and just enjoying several great hours on the boat. We left Rarity Bay around 12:00 and got back home around 6:30p…
