Today we had another day for just Trev and I so we decided to drive up to Sundance, Utah where the well know Sundance Film Festival is held each Winter. We had scheduled a chairlift to the top of Ray’s Summit overlooking the Timpanagos Mountains. It was about a 90 minute roundtrip ride so we just enjoyed the amazing views. I truly don’t see how people ski down sections on that mountain range. Read more
When we arrived at the top, there is a little snack restaurant but it was closed due to Covid-19. We walked around the top, got some great pics, and then began the journey backdown. On the way down, we saw a large zipline area, and we were going to sign Trevor up. However by the time we got back to the bottom, we would have had to wait another hour or so, and we decided to head back to Park City.
On our way back, we stopped at the Olympic Village from the 2002 Winter Olympics. We checked out the museum and got to see jumpers training from the ramps that land in the water. Too cool.
When we got back to the house, we just chilled out a bit. Since we were in Park City, we put on the 80’s movie Hot Dog The Movie, which is a ski movie Trev had never seen. We then turned in.
