Sturgis was pretty calm when we arrived. We walked around most of the day just people watching and experiencing the event. At the end of Main Street there was a platform to get an aerial photo, so we made a $10 donation to the Sturgis swimmers for that. We were both decked out in biker wear (although we were clearly posers) but we fit right in. We signed a map saying where we came in from. I was pitched Harley bike insurance and given discount card for maintenance on my bike…. which I do not have.
Ran into Willie Nelson and he asked me to be security at his concert on Tuesday. I told him we were leaving that night. Wick and I got a cool photo with him.
We left before dinnertime and continued our trip into Montana and decided to make a pitstop at the Little Bighorn National Battlefield, outside of Billings.
