We arrived into St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands around 730a, but the family preceded to sleep until 830a or so. We got dressed and had breakfast at the Windjammer Cafe (Kristy you were right… The tater tots / hash browns are awesome. Read more
We then disembarked and walked around St. Croix a bit. There was a public beach to the left so we decided to check it out. All of us got out our snorkels and Trev and I then played frisbee in the water.
The rocks on the beach in the shallows were brutal. In water up to your waist, and then the current crashes you into a rock you couldn’t even see. Trev and I got bruised up pretty good, but it was worth it.
We then all came back to the ship and Trev and Tay scattered. Mom and I took Tess to Adventure Ocean and then we headed out to the island again to walk around a bit more. We really enjoyed the adult time away from the kids.
We then came back to the ship and immediately hit the pool. I then left the girls and met Trev over at the bball courts. The girls went and did the Rockwall and both Tay and Tess made it to the top and rang the bell.
Tonight was a formal dinner night so we headed back to get all dressed up. At dinner Trevor asked for a 2nd entree and finished that meal as fast as he engulfed the first one. The food was very good.
We went back to the suite to change clothes and then took Tess back to Adventure Club for the rest of the evening. Heather and I then went to the Battle of the Sexes competition. It was most definitely adult-rated. The ladies ended up winning, although they cheated…
Afterwards Heather and I planned the day for St Maarten tomorrow.
