We all met up at the dock at 10a for some snorkeling. The captain was a guy by the name of Trouble. He became our buddy during the trip. The snorkeling was awesome. Nobody got sick, yeh!, and the views in the water were amazing. It literally felt like we were in an aquarium. The pics below don’t do it justice. Read more
We got back and laid on the beach and then had some more of that great pizza. We then headed back over to the private island and hung out at our cabanas for the rest of the day.
After another great day on the private island, we came back and ate some more. These all-inclusive places are going to kill us. We then headed back to the rooms to get dressed. Tonight we are having dinner at The Royal Thai, which is the only restaurant on the private island.
We arrived at the restaurant. Very cool Thai theme – open-air, right on the beach. The food was pretty good. I had the cashew chicken, and Heather had the spicy shrimp. We all had another great meal and then got together for a few group pics. I had the idea of the pyramid (I’m never on top), and that pic came out great as well. We really had some amazing pics from the trip between all 8 of us. We hung around for the beach party for a bit dancing it up. Trouble showed up and we chatted with him a bit while we watched some freelance break-dancing.
Greg and I were watching the Bengals playoff game against the Steelers. They were down This is when everything changed. As we were leaving the island for the 2 min ride back to shore, the Bengals intercepted the Steelers on the Steelers 25 yd line with 80 seconds remaining in the game. They had come from down 15, to leading 16-15 and with the ball. We were all hi-fiveing that the Bengals were going to break the 25+ year curse of playoff loses. When we arrived back at shore we ran into the pub to quickly discover that in the time it took us to get back, Jeremy Hill fumbled the 1st play from scrimmage giving the ball back to the Steelers. After 2 asinine personal foul penalties, the Bengals lost the game on a last-sec field goal 18-16. The BUNGELS did it again!
Had to leave the pub before Greg and I got into a fight with a drunk obnoxious Browns fan. Complete horse’s ass.
