We got started early this morning and were at the Dayton airport by 345a for a 650a flight to Orlando, two hour layover, and then another 2 1/2 hours to San Juan. The weather was beautiful when we arrived about 84°. We took a taxi to our hotel with our 7 pieces of luggage.. over packed a bit for this trip. Read more
We decided to walk around the area and found a little quaint place to have a bite to eat called Yamburger. It’s kind of cool as they actually brand their logo in the top of the bun as you can see in the slideshow below. We then took the very short walk over to the beach. The kids and I played frisbee in the water while mom took a long needed nap.
The walk to the beach and back was really nice. The city has a lot of water and is separated by walking/jogging sidewalks. It seemed like everybody was out enojoying the day. On our way back, we stopped at a small store to get some bottles of water to have at the hotel.
Since it was still pretty early we decided to go down to the hotel pool and ended up having the whole place to ourselves. Trevor and Taylor were arguing who was going to get in first because the water was so cold. I decided to help out by sneaking up and pushing them both in… then I jumped in with them as well. The water was pretty cold!
We were all so tired from a long day of travel and turned in around 9 PM.
