Day 9: we woke up and got ready for the day. Me and ellie went to the grocery to pick up some food for lunch and then went back to our room. then we all met up and walked to the ferry. we road a ferry boat to a island. Read more
this island was a farm that produced a lot of food for local restaurants and we got to see how they did some things. we got to watch a sheep being sheered, dogs herding sheep and got to feed all different types of animals. then we had tea and biscuits. then we rode back to town. me and ellie went and signed up for paragliding. Since we had time, we went into town and had Fergburger which is apparently one of the best burgers in the world. it was good but not the best. then we did some shopping and got ready to go.
we got in the van to take us to where we were paragliding and it was a fun riding because one of the guys was from Wisconsin and was super cool and paragliding was his job. then we picked up our pilots. we paraglided (video) and it was so fun but Ellie puked 😂. She had a really cute pilot too and she threw up her fergburger midflight! i couldnt stop laughing for about 30 min. Then we went back to town and did a little more shopping, then got Cookie Time which is an amazing dessert place. then we went back to our rooms and packed up, watched a movie and went to bed.
Day 10: today we woke up and me and ellie walked to starbucks and got bagels from Fergbakery, then we started our 6 hour drive to Christchurch. Day 11 – we head back to the USA.
