After walking around the fort for over 2 hours, we decided to walk down through old town, San Juan. We arrived at a nice little place called El patio de Sam and decided to have lunch as we were all very hungry from the walking in the heat.
After lunch we continued to walk down south towards the San Juan Gate. We then went to the Castillo San Cristóbal, Casa Blanca, and a series of shops.
Heather found a rum tasting place so we sent the kids to watch a street guy play guitar while she and I sampled the rum. Our favorite was Don Q Gran Anejo.

We continued our walk and souvenir shopping and decided since it was so late to have a small dinner at Greengos. Our friend Kristie Hayes recommended this place to us.
It was about 830p after we finished dinner so we decided to take a taxi back to the hotel. Tomorrow we board our cruise…
