We got up and headed over to play putt-putt, but the line was long so we went to the Swan paddle boats. It was awesome, mom and I sat in the back as Luis and Tess paddled the whole time. We then came back to the villa and grabbed a snack while Tay and mom went to the pool. Several hours later, the 4 of us went to rent bikes while mom took Brody for a walk.
We ended up meeting at a dog park near the back of the property, and then went to the soccer fields and played soccer and threw the football. We returned the bikes, and then we all headed back to the villa to relax a bit.. mom made chicken quesadillas and we all played Catch-phrase.
Tuesday 3/19
We spent the day at the University of Tampa.
Then on the way home we stopped by Florida Southern to visit with Mary Kaleta. She gave us a tour of the campus and her dorm room and we spent some time with her. We then headed back to Orlando.
Wednesday 3/20
We got up and mom prepared breakfast for us then we played some putt putt. Tess had 2 hole-in-ones, and I had 1. I redeemed my earlier loss to mom and beat her by 1 stroke, and Tess came in 3rd. #days now and still not great weather. Overcast and windy, bu it was the warmest day so far so we spent most of the day at the pool. Had dinner that evening at Miller’s Ale House.
Thursday 3/21
Got up and took mom/Tay to Avis by 930a for their 10 hour drive to Richmond, VA today since Tay is playing with CUP Gold at the Jefferson Cup. I got back to the villa and it was just Tess, Luis, and I so we went to play tennis for an hour or so. I then had a few work calls, so the kids just hung out. Luis played XBOX (shocker). We then grabbed dinner at Cracker Barrel. Came back and watched some NCAA March Madness – Ja Morant is a beast – first triple double in 7 years – 17 pts, 16 assists, 11, rebounds as they upset #13 Marquette by 20.
Friday 3/22
We got up and had some breakfast and then headed over to the water park.It was a beautiful sunny day, no wind, right after mom and Tay leave for VA. The kids and I spent all day at the water park. We ordered pizza and watched more March Madness, and then packed up for tomorrow as we leave early to meet mom and Tay in Richmond, VA. Taylor’s CUP Gold team team upset a top 75 National team. 2-0 at Jefferson cup.
