Heather and I woke up pretty early and then headed to the buffet breakfast. It was a pleasant walk right next to the beach. Wick & Bridget then joined us followed shortly by Greg and Judy. The weather was perfect so we all sat outside in the courtyard and enjoyed a nice breeze. Read more
We then all got on the kayaks for an hour or so. Each kayak was a 2-seater and was pretty easy to maneuver. The waves here are much calmer than other beaches in the Caribbean we have been to.
We then all headed over to the private island and stayed in our cabanas for the remainder of the day. We relaxed in the hammocks, laid on the beach, etc. We had lunch at The Bamboo Shack, 1 of 2 restaurants on the island. This was the day I was asked if our group was from Europe?. Anybody up for NAACHOS!?
We came back around 6 or so and had some pizza and cocktails at Bella Napoli. The pizzas were surprisingly very good. We then all went back to our rooms to rest up for the pool party dinner later tonight.
We all had dinner on the beach and then went to night show extravaganza. It was pretty awesome. There were jugglers, dancers, fire dancers, fire breathers, etc. We then all went back to our hang out at the firepit. Heather wasn’t feeling the best so we headed back to the room and turned in for the night.
