We slept in today and decided to order room service and eat on our balcony and enjoy the ocean view. It was a nice american breakfast to start off the day. We were supposed to play volleyball on the beach at 11, but it was still to windy so we all went to the pool to hang out. Even with the wind, the weather was still very nice. The weather was perfect so we all sat outside in the courtyard and enjoyed a nice breeze. Read more
After awhile at the pool, the group moved to the beach and jammed our tunes for a few hours. The ladies enjoyed dancing, while the guys just watched the show. Todd got up to walk in the water and found a baby turtle. Bridget said that made her trip. It was a cute little guy… Krush jr. We were periodically hit with several pop-up showers which I understand is common around here. They just stayed long enough for an inconvenience and then the sun returned.
We grabbed a late lunch and then headed to the back to the main pool for the foam party. Before the party, we got up on the pool on top of the waterfall and had some drinks. Met some nice couple from Iowa and Pennsylvania. We then headed back down for the foam party. This was AWESOME! I swear I went back in time to Daytona Beach ’88. They had this high power foam machie that shot foam all across the pool. We took so many photos during this. I literally couldn’t see in front of me with all the foam in my eyes and everywhere else. I put Heather on my shoulders, and then Neil put Ginger on his and everyone else in the pool followed suit. It was soo fun!
After the foam party we all headed back to the rooms to rest up and get ready for dinner. We had reservations at Silk City, a teppanyaki-sytle Japanese restaurant. The food was really good, but near the end of the meal, Heather started feeling sick so I took here back to the room to rest. I relaxed a bit and worked on THIS website. After a few hours of rest, we headed to the After Dark club around 11:30p. It was a really cool club with an awesome balcony. We stayed there for 2-3 hours and then Heaher and I explored the resort. It was so peaceful near the ocean. We then turned in for the night. I was deceived by the wind today, and actually ended up getting bad sunburn after all.
