Left at 12:30 AM with the lofty goal of me driving all night. The 7 hour night drive made it evident that my night eyes aren’t what they used to be. Heather took at about 8a and I needed to rest my eyes for a few hours.
Arrived at Fernandina Beach at 130p and headed straight to the beach. Not real windy, but no sun either. Walked around, played some volleyball and took several cool pictures as the sunset. We then headed to the downtown area of Fernandina Beach which was really cool. We got some souvenirs and some ice cream and walked around the area for a few hours. We then headed towards Jacksonville where we are staying tonight.
