Then took buggy shuttle to beach and walked around a bit.  It was perfect weather, and the beach was practically ours (love off-season). Came back and walked down Boardwalk and got some souvenirs.  Ended up grabbing pizza at Pizza Bizarre… not very good pizza at all. Headed up to room and turned in.

Friday morning we got up early and took the trolley to Indian Rocks Beach to have Lighthouse donuts. These are the fluffiest donuts anywhere around. We then headed up to Clearwater Beach, but stopped first to play mini-golf. Heather ended up beating me by 3 strokes, and won a massage from me. 

We then took a long walk down the beach to Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill so Heather can get her she-crab soup.  I forgot how good and meaty the wings were. We then headed back to the resort pool and hung out.  I gave Heather the option of going to Columbia for dinner, or getting on the trolley and going back up to Clearwater.  We went back up to Clearwater Beach and there was a big event going on.  We then had dinner at the Lobster Pot.  Filet Mignon poppers were awesome. Turned in around midnight.

Saturday we got up around 7:30 and walked over to the beach.  A great breeze for the morning, and was very relaxing.  Left the island around 9a and went to meet my old friend Ira and his family.  (Erin, Ryan, ??).  Had a nice breakfast at Toojay’s near the mall.  Drove back up to Orlando and headed to convention center to setup booth.  Had dinner with Mike Matthews at Bahama  and then took Heather to the airport.  What a nice few day escape…

PLEASE NOTE – This was just a little getaway for Heather and I.  The kids did not join us on this trip.
