Below was our route for today.
We left the Skarda’s (Thank You so much for your hospitality) this morning and headed South to Bryce Canyon National Park. Karen, you and Heather can keep practicing on your Euchre). Read more
The drive should have been no more than 4 hours, but with all the traffic in between Salt Lake City and Provo, it took a lot longer. Also after Provo, there is NOTHING until you get to Southern Utah. I thought Iowa was bad (Sorry Hayes’s).
We arrived into Bryce Canyon City, which was just established in 2007. It is a neat little village city, and it is pretty compact. There is a rodeo that runs Wed-Sun right across the street, too bad we have to leave tomorrow. Also there is an amazing “star” show over the canyon every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tonight is Monday, I can’t catch a break.
The canyon is unbelievable. People have said that it is better than The Grand Canyon, we will find out later in the week. Trevor we believe picked up the 24hr bug (we hope it’s just 24hrs), so he will not be in a lot of the pictures below because just Taylor and I hiked down the canyon while mommy and Trevor stayed up on the top trail.
Tomorrow—kids get to experience Las Vegas!
