Saturday 4/8
The traffic on the way down Manatee Blvd was the worst I had ever seen. It took us 3 hours to get from Orlando to the beachhouse but the 90 degree sunny weather made it all worth it.. Spent the whole day at the beach. Had dinner at Bridge Tinder Inn Tiki Bar. It was a perfect evening, nice breeze, great tunes, and food wasn’t too bad at all. We came back and walked across the street to the beach at night to check out the sky. We walked back across the street and went to bed around midnight.
Sunday 4/9
The plan was to get up at 5a and attend the Easter church service on AMI Beach, near the Beach Cafe. Mom was the only one that got up and made it to the service. When she came back, the annual McCracken Easter Scavenger Hunt took place for Tessa and Delaney. We then drove to AMI Beach Cafe to park and then got on the trolley to grab some donuts at The Donut Experiment. After getting off the trolley on Pine Ave, the place was closed for Easter!
