We got up and headed over to the University of Tampa around 830a. Arrived about an hour later to a beautiful campus. We walked around and took some photos near the river and then checked in for our tour. The tour was about 90 minutes, then we got a bite to eat and Tay and I headed over to meet with the head women’s soccer coach Erin Switalski while mom, Tess, and Luis took the short walk downtown. Tay and I had a great meeting with coach Erin, and she then gave us a tour of the “D1” athletic facilities. Hugely impressed with the great championship tradition, and setup they have for their athletes. You can see from the pictures below why this school is way up on Tay’s list.
We then met up with the others who spent most of the afternoon at the Tampa Art Museum and walking around downtown.
Then on the way home we stopped by FL Southern to visit with Mary Kaleta. She gave us a quick tour of the campus and her dormroom and then we headed back to Orlando.
